Infinix has officially started selling its new gaming-focused smartphone, the Infinix GT 50 Pro, in India. Introduced earlier this week, the handset brings together a 144Hz AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate processor, dedicated gaming controls and a large 6,500mAh battery. The launch is particularly interesting for mobile gaming enthusiasts, as the company is also offering a gaming accessory bundle worth Rs. 24,999 as part of its promotional offer.
The Infinix GT 50 Pro is listed with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage in India, with a starting price of Rs. 69,999. Customers using eligible SBI debit and credit cards can receive an instant discount of up to 10 per cent, bringing the effective price down to Rs. 64,999 under the advertised offer. The smartphone also features pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers, HydroFlow Liquid Cooling technology and support for wired and wireless fast charging. Here is everything buyers need to know about its price, bank offers, availability and specifications.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Price
The Infinix GT 50 Pro price in India is Rs. 69,999 for the listed variant featuring 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. This positions the smartphone in a segment where buyers generally look for powerful hardware, gaming-focused features and a premium overall experience.
However, customers planning to purchase the handset can take advantage of the launch bank offer. Infinix is providing an instant discount of up to 10 per cent on eligible SBI debit and credit card transactions. The offer also covers eligible credit card EMI purchases.
After applying the advertised bank discount, the effective purchase price can come down to Rs. 64,999. This makes the phone comparatively more attractive for buyers who can meet the conditions of the promotional offer. The actual discount may vary depending on the selected payment method and applicable terms.
The smartphone is available in two colour options:
- Black Abyss
- Red Blaze
Interested customers can purchase the Infinix GT 50 Pro through Flipkart and the official Infinix online store. Buyers should check the latest listing for the final selling price, colour availability and applicable bank discounts before completing their orders.
Launch Offers
One of the biggest highlights of the Infinix GT 50 Pro launch is the complimentary gaming accessory package. The company is offering a bundle valued at Rs. 24,999 at no additional cost alongside the smartphone as part of its launch promotion.
The bundle is designed to give gaming enthusiasts additional accessories that can improve their overall mobile gaming experience. Instead of purchasing every accessory separately, eligible buyers can receive several gaming-related products with their smartphone.
The promotional gaming accessory package includes:
- GT NX Station: Included as part of the gaming accessory package.
- GT NX Controller: An additional controller designed for gaming use.
- GT Cooling Fan cum Charger: Combines cooling and charging functionality.
- GT 50 Pro MagSafe Cover Free Controller-5: An additional accessory included in the promotional bundle.
Along with the hardware accessories, Infinix is offering another benefit through JioGames. Buyers can access the JioGames Pro Pass for 28 days at just Re. 1. According to the offer details, the pass normally costs Rs. 499.
These launch benefits make the overall package more appealing, especially for people who regularly play mobile games and want additional gaming equipment. However, the availability of the bundle, eligibility requirements and redemption conditions may depend on the applicable promotional terms. Customers should check these details before purchasing.
Display Features
The Infinix GT 50 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution of 1,208 x 2,644 pixels. The screen is one of the main attractions of the smartphone, particularly for users who spend considerable time playing games, watching videos and browsing content.
Another important feature is its 144Hz refresh rate. Compared with conventional displays offering lower refresh rates, a 144Hz panel can deliver smoother scrolling, animations and supported gaming experiences. This can be particularly useful in fast-paced games where smooth on-screen movement is important.
However, the actual advantage of the higher refresh rate depends on the applications and games being used. Not every game supports 144Hz gameplay, so the experience may differ depending on software support and performance requirements.
Infinix also claims that the display can achieve peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits under supported conditions. This is intended to improve screen visibility in bright surroundings. The display further includes Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection to help protect the screen, along with TÜV Low Blue Light certification.
Overall, the combination of a large AMOLED panel, 1.5K resolution and high refresh rate gives the GT 50 Pro a display configuration focused on entertainment and gaming.
Processor and Performance
Performance is another major part of the Infinix GT 50 Pro package. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, paired with a Mali-G720 MC7 GPU. This hardware combination is aimed at handling demanding applications, multitasking and supported mobile games.
The handset also comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which should help users manage multiple applications and demanding workloads. Faster memory is particularly relevant for gaming smartphones, where applications may require quick access to data during gameplay.
For internal storage, the specifications list up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. However, the India pricing information currently provided lists the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration at Rs. 69,999. Buyers interested in a higher storage capacity should confirm its availability in the Indian market before placing an order.
The combination of the Dimensity processor, Mali GPU, LPDDR5X memory and 144Hz display gives the smartphone a clear performance-oriented identity. It is designed for customers who want more than basic everyday smartphone functionality, particularly those interested in mobile gaming.
While the hardware specifications indicate a focus on performance, actual results will depend on the applications being used, game optimisation, software updates and operating conditions.
Gaming Experience
Gaming is at the centre of the Infinix GT 50 Pro’s design. One of its most distinctive features is the inclusion of pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers. These dedicated controls provide additional input options while playing compatible mobile games.
Shoulder triggers can be particularly useful in action-oriented and shooting games, where players often need to perform multiple actions quickly. By moving certain controls towards the edges of the smartphone, these triggers can provide another way to interact with games without relying entirely on the touchscreen.
For gaming enthusiasts, this type of control system can make the smartphone feel more specialised than a conventional handset. It also gives users additional options when configuring their gameplay experience in supported titles.
Another major gaming feature is Infinix’s HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system. It is designed to manage heat generated during demanding activities, including extended gaming sessions and other intensive workloads.
Heat management is an important consideration for performance-focused smartphones. When a device handles demanding tasks for extended periods, temperature can affect both user comfort and sustained performance. A dedicated cooling solution is intended to help manage this issue.
However, the effectiveness of the cooling system in everyday use will depend on several factors, including the game being played, surrounding temperature and duration of use. Real-world testing will provide a clearer picture of its performance during longer gaming sessions.
Camera Specifications
Although the Infinix GT 50 Pro is primarily designed for mobile gaming, the company has also included a dual rear camera setup for everyday photography. The main camera features a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an f/1.59 aperture.
Optical image stabilisation is designed to reduce the effect of minor hand movements while capturing photos and videos. This can help produce steadier results, particularly when shooting in situations where keeping the smartphone completely still is difficult.
The primary sensor is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. As the name suggests, the ultra-wide camera provides a broader field of view, making it useful for capturing landscapes, group photographs and scenes where users want to include more surroundings in a single frame.
On the front, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel selfie camera for self-portraits and video calls. This provides the basic camera functionality expected from a modern smartphone.
While camera performance is not the primary selling point of the GT 50 Pro, its combination of a 50-megapixel main sensor, ultra-wide camera and front-facing selfie camera covers several common photography requirements.
Battery and Charging
The Infinix GT 50 Pro is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery, which is another important feature for people who spend long hours using their smartphones. The large battery capacity is intended to provide sufficient power for gaming, video streaming, browsing and regular daily activities.
Battery capacity is particularly important in gaming-focused smartphones because demanding games, high screen refresh rates and extended display usage can consume considerable power. A larger battery provides additional capacity for users who regularly perform these activities.
For charging, Infinix has included support for 45W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging. This gives buyers two charging options, depending on their preferences and available accessories.
The smartphone also supports reverse charging features. Its charging capabilities include:
- 6,500mAh battery capacity
- 45W wired fast charging
- 30W wireless charging
- 10W reverse wired charging
- 5W reverse wireless charging
Reverse charging allows the handset to provide power to compatible devices and accessories. This can be useful when another device needs additional power and a separate charger is not readily available.
Actual battery endurance will vary according to screen brightness, refresh rate settings, network conditions, gaming intensity and other usage habits. Nevertheless, the 6,500mAh battery gives the GT 50 Pro a substantial power capacity on paper.
Software and Connectivity
On the software side, the Infinix GT 50 Pro runs Android 16-based XOS 16. The customised interface brings Infinix’s software experience to the smartphone alongside the Android platform.
Connectivity is another area where the device offers several modern options. The listed features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and a USB Type-C port. These options cover wireless networking, Bluetooth connections, NFC functionality and wired connectivity.

The addition of HydroFlow Liquid Cooling technology also gives the smartphone a more gaming-focused identity. Meanwhile, the 6,500mAh battery, 45W wired charging and 30W wireless charging provide additional features for people who want a device capable of handling demanding everyday usage.
The launch offers are another reason buyers may consider the handset. The accessory package valued at Rs. 24,999 and the discounted JioGames Pro Pass provide additional benefits beyond the smartphone itself. Eligible SBI card users can also take advantage of the advertised discount to reduce the effective purchase price to Rs. 64,999.
However, buyers should not make their decision based only on the specifications and promotional value. Actual gaming performance, sustained thermal behaviour, software experience and the usefulness of the bundled accessories are important factors to consider.
Final Thoughts
The Infinix GT 50 Pro enters the Indian smartphone market with a strong focus on mobile gaming. Its high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, dedicated shoulder triggers and HydroFlow Liquid Cooling system make it an interesting option for users looking for gaming-oriented hardware.
The large 6,500mAh battery, multiple charging options and promotional gaming accessory bundle further strengthen its specifications. At Rs. 69,999, the handset sits in a premium price segment, although the advertised SBI card discount can bring the effective price down to Rs. 64,999 for eligible buyers.
For customers considering a new gaming smartphone, the GT 50 Pro offers several features worth examining. Checking the final purchase price, storage availability and promotional conditions will be important before placing an order. Its long-term appeal will ultimately depend on how well its gaming hardware, cooling system and software perform in everyday use.
